The RADIL provides a series of species-specific health monitoring and diagnostic necropsy profiles as part of a comprehensive program designed to identify microbial infections of laboratory animals.

The standard profiles include:

• Immunocompromised Profile (Includes Histopathology)

Standard profiles include a complete necropsy examination with serology and parasitology.

Optional additions to standard profiles include:

Addition of Histopathology of selected target tissues.

Addition of Microbiology (cultures for respiratory and enteric baterial pathogens)

Addition of Helicobacter PCR
Addition of Pneumocystis carinii PCR to Immunocompromised Profile
Addition of Corynebacterium bovis PCR to Immunocompromised Profile (nude mice only)

• Diagnostic Necropsy Profile
  This profile is used for selected animals that have identifiable clinical problems. Specific tests are determined by the pathologist in consultation with the client.


• FELASA Profiles for Mice and Rats
  Profile for mice and rats that meets current FELASA guideline.   Reports are available for these profiles in the FELASA reporting format.
